ABOUT

Better Than Ever Productions was originally founded by Debbie DeCeco Lannen as a theatre group for actors aged 50+.  Operating under the name Still Got It Players, this group entertained the community with comedies, musicals and murder mysteries for five years at the Canton Village Theatre.  In July of 2014, SGIP performed their renowned production of Geezer Game in New York City at the Midtown International Theatre Festival and were nominated for Outstanding Ensemble Production.

After Ms. Lannen retired in August, 2014, we re-grouped and formed Better Than Ever Productions, a not-for-profit corporation.  We re-introduced ourselves to the community under our new name by re-launching our successful production of Geezer Game in March, 2015.

This past year we became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  This year we're looking forward to becoming an official partner group at the Canton Village Theatre.  And we will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary this August.
